Tuberville disclosed a 2024 bond purchase 831 days past the deadline
Eight trades dated between March 2024 and October 2025 reached the Senate clerk in a single batch on August 5, 2026, up to 876 days after they happened.
Tommy Tuberville bought a Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation medium-term note for between $100,001 and $250,000 on March 12, 2024 [1]. The periodic transaction report reached the Senate clerk on August 5, 2026, 876 days after the trade and 831 days past the STOCK Act's 45-day deadline [2].
Eight trades, some more than two years old, were disclosed on one day
The Freddie Mac note purchase was one of eight trades that reached the clerk on August 5, 2026 [2]. A joint account bought Rolls-Royce Holdings ADR for between $1,001 and $15,000 on March 21, 2024, disclosed 822 days past the deadline, and sold Rolls-Royce ADR on May 3, 2024, disclosed 779 days past [3] [4]. The same joint account sold Solventum on May 3, 2024, also 779 days past the deadline, and sold Otis Worldwide and Nestle ADR on October 29, 2024, each 600 days past [5] [6] [7].
The two most recent items in the batch were a Qualcomm sale of between $15,001 and $50,000 dated April 15, 2025, filed 432 days past the deadline, and a sale of Birmingham, Alabama general obligation warrants of between $15,001 and $50,000 dated October 7, 2025, filed 257 days past [8] [9].
The same April 15, 2025 trade date produced one filing in 30 days and one in 477
On April 15, 2025, Tuberville sold Microsoft, Apple, Amgen, Eli Lilly, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, each for between $15,001 and $50,000, and reported all of them in a transaction report filed May 15, 2025, 30 days later and inside the 45-day window [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15]. The joint account's Qualcomm sale, dated the same day and in the same range, was not filed until August 5, 2026, 477 days after the trade [16].
Late filings run back to Tuberville's first weeks in office
On January 4, 2021, Tuberville sold Dollar General and Weyerhaeuser, each for between $50,001 and $100,000, sold a Fidelity Nasdaq Composite Index ETF position of between $100,001 and $250,000, and sold an Intel put struck at $50.00 for between $1,001 and $15,000 [17] [18] [19] [20]. All four reached the clerk on July 23, 2021, 200 days after the trades and 155 days past the deadline [17].
A purchase of SSYS for between $50,001 and $100,000 on September 20, 2021 was filed on August 28, 2023, 662 days past the deadline [21]. An Agilent Technologies purchase of between $1,001 and $15,000 on April 3, 2022 was filed 358 days past the deadline, and a GLPI purchase in the same range on October 6, 2022 was filed 281 days past [22] [23].
Across the current Congress, Tuberville's median gap between a trade and its disclosure is 35 days, later than 78 percent of the 113 members with at least five dated filings since January 3, 2025 [24]. He reported 45 transactions dated on or after that day, the 40th-most of the 161 members with any reported trades, with disclosed ranges summing to $661,045 to $2,140,000 [25] [26].
Tuberville chairs the Personnel committee and sold Lockheed Martin in June 2026
Tuberville sits on the Senate Committee on Armed Services [27]. He chairs the Personnel committee, whose jurisdiction covers industrials [28]. He sold Lockheed Martin for between $15,001 and $50,000 on June 8, 2026, and sold Honeywell International in the same range on October 29, 2024 [29] [30]. USAspending records list Lockheed Martin Corporation receiving $27,081,577,893 across 1,584 awards, and list two Honeywell federal-award identities receiving $55,357,028,098 from the Department of Energy on July 30, 2026 and $18,770,558,558 from the same department on July 28, 2026 [31] [32] [33].
Tuberville also chairs the Education and the American Family committee, whose jurisdiction covers health care [34]. He sold Johnson & Johnson on October 29, 2024, Amgen on April 15, 2025 and Procter & Gamble on June 8, 2026, each for between $15,001 and $50,000 [35] [36] [37]. USAspending records list Amgen USA Inc receiving $839,875,190 from the Department of Health and Human Services on August 4, 2026 [38].
Eight positions left the account on June 8, 2026, including Pfizer
On June 8, 2026, Tuberville sold American Water Works, Duke Energy, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, CSX, Mastercard, Lockheed Martin and NextEra Energy, each for between $15,001 and $50,000 [39] [40] [41] [42] [43] [44] [45] [46]. The transaction report was filed July 16, 2026, 38 days after the trades and inside the 45-day window [41]. USAspending records list Pfizer Inc receiving $12,549,999,848 from the Department of Defense on March 31, 2023 across 1,146 awards [47].
What the records do not show
Senate filings report amounts as ranges, not exact figures, so the totals here are sums of range floors and ceilings rather than dollars received. Several of the late-filed trades are marked as belonging to a joint account, and the records do not show who placed them or when Tuberville learned of them. The overlap between a trade and a committee's sector is a match of sector to jurisdiction; none of these trades fell within 30 days of a related vote in the records reviewed. The federal award figures come from USAspending recipient records matched by company name and ticker, and they do not show that Tuberville acted on or knew of any award.
What to watch
The August 5, 2026 batch closed gaps going back to March 2024, so the next periodic transaction reports will show whether the joint-account trades are now being filed inside the 45-day window.

What the desk logged

- Late disclosuresHigh
Eight overdue trades cleared in a single day's filings
On August 5, 2026, eight trades dated between March 2024 and October 2025 reached the clerk at once, from 257 to 876 days after the transactions [1] [2]. Seven of the eight were held in a joint account, including Rolls-Royce ADR purchases and sales, Solventum, Otis Worldwide, Nestle ADR, Qualcomm and Birmingham, Alabama general obligation warrants [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [2].
How this was put together
Everything above comes from filings CapitolExposed holds: periodic transaction reports filed under the STOCK Act, committee rosters, roll-call votes, FEC contribution records, Lobbying Disclosure Act registrations, USAspending award records, and SEC Form 4 filings. Late filings are counted only from periodic transaction reports, never from annual-report holdings, and never from a trade dated before the member took office. Contributions from the member's own committees, joint fundraising committees, party committees and conduits are excluded. A federal award is linked to a company only through a company identifier, never a ticker appearing inside a recipient's name. Amounts on transaction reports are the ranges the filer chose, not exact figures. Timing is not causation, and a trade may have been placed by a spouse or an outside manager.
CapitolExposed does not allege wrongdoing. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
